
Burkhard Schafer
Burkhard Schafer is Professor for Computational Legal Theory at the University of Edinburgh. His dual interests are the use of technology in the justice system, and technology as a subject of legal regulation. He is also a member of the Data Ethics Group of the Alan Turing Institute and a member of the AI4People expert group at Atomium. He has published widely on all aspects fo technology regulation, including data protection and intellectual property tlaw.
